Chef David Gutch
Chef David Gutch joined the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside culinary team in October 2011. Chef David graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 1987. In 1992 and 1993 Chef David returned to The Culinary Institute of America for 1 year of Continuing Education Classes, including Ice Carving.
Chef David has worked for the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee; Hotel Stoller in Zurich Switzerland; Arthur’s 27, 4 Star 4 Diamond Restaurant in Orlando Florida and The Park Hotel, 4 Star 4 Diamond in Charlotte, North Carolina

Pasquel Solé, Food and Beverage Director
Pasquel Solé joined the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside in spring 2011 as the Food and Beverage Director.
Pasquel’s credentials include being a Certified Executive Chef designated by the American Culinary Federation; Certified Food and Beverage Executive (CFBE); Culinary Institute of America, Professional Chef Certified, Level 3; Le Cordon Bleu studies in Molecular Foods and Design and Court of the Master Sommelier, Certified Level 3.
We are excited about the talents and creative touches Pasquel brings to our food and beverage team. Past accolades include Chaine des Rotisseuers, Maitre d Hotel, Cuisine di Italiano; 1st Place , Villeroy and Boch, Culinary Arts Challenge, Garde Manger Challenge; Honorable Placement, Albert Uster, Eclectic Menu Design and Taste of France, Menu and Wine Design, Omni Award of Excellence.
